Whitney Neal is an incredibly talented photographer who knows how to capture all the beautiful moments that make a wedding day so memorable. My husband and I were beyond thrilled with her work for our wedding in Lexington, Kentucky. She has a unique ability to get of a shot of everything without you even knowing she’s there. We didn’t have a videographer so we relied on Whitney to take pictures that would tell the story of our big day. We were amazed when we received our wedding pictures after the wedding... we couldn’t stop looking at them and had a very difficult time narrowing down which ones to use for our wedding album! They all had such an ethereal beauty to them. Whitney also has such a pleasant and calm way about her which is an added bonus for nervous brides like me! We couldn’t recommend Whitney more!

The walls of our home are filled with the incredible talent of Whitney Neal. We have had the honor of having her capture the most poignant moments in our lives. From the stunning images of our wedding, to the incredible shots caught from an afternoon in the kitchen, every time she has blown us away with her undeniable talent and skill to see moments I will be able to remember for years to come. Moments like my husbands eyes filling with tears as I walked down the isle, to six years later of my son with tears of joy as he plays with his Dad.

She fills every room she walks into with so much joy, it is instantly contagious allowing you to relax and completely be yourself. I’m so looking forward to seeing where life takes my family and to see the beautiful images Whitney will capture along the way. 

Pictures capture moments throughout time, especially those special moments where we wish time could stand still. Special times, such as holding your small, precious baby for the first time, evoking emotions of love a young mother never wants to lose. As the child changes over the next few years, which pass much too quickly, a special bond grows stronger because of the laughter, smiles, the worry, and the tears; the depth of unspoken love that can never be undone.

Finding a photographer to capture the special moments of the now grown man and woman for their wedding was important as Katherine and Don planned for their special day, and Whitney Neal was the perfect fit. Whitney helped “time stand still” by photographing not just the bride and groom, but the friendships at the wedding. She included the backgrounds where each moment occurred, capturing the essence of these special memories, keeping them alive each time we view them after the wedding day.

Whitney took time to get to know Katherine and Don right after they were engaged. She made sure the photos included their love of architecture and natural surroundings as she captured their love for each other. Her easy personality and willingness to spend time with each person involved in the wedding helped preserve the love shared by all during the wedding. Our thanks for Whitney’s time and patience to make the day extra special for each family and friend connected to the bride and groom on their special day.

From my initial meet and greet, Whitney emitted this warm, infectious, calming demeanor which instantly put me at ease. I quickly learned how personable and genuine she was and knew I wanted to work with her. She was truly a dream throughout every stage of the planning process and left no detail unturned.

Whitney’s presence on our wedding day was so comforting and approachable for everyone involved. She has this uncanny ability to make you feel relaxed and allows you to forget you are even in front of the camera. I never had to worry about any detail or moment being missed. She allowed Jonathan & I to slow down and cherish all of the little important moments that can so easily be overlooked in the excitement of the day. And if by chance a flower girl has a category 5 meltdown, Whitney knows how to wrangle it in while keeping a smile on her face.  And, that...is an invaluable gift!

Our friends and family still comment on how special our wedding day was, which, in large part, was due to Whitney’s presence. Her photographs are a true work of art that uniquely captured our personalities and raw emotions to a T. Her photographs are our most valued keepsakes that we will forever hold near to our heart. We cannot thank her enough and cherish our experience and friendship we garnered in the process.
